About the Reviewer

Hello! I am an avid reader in Springville, UT. I’m one of those people who have lists pages long of books that I want to read (not to mention the dozens of books on my Kindle waiting to be read too). I have a Masters degree in Library Science with a Youth Services Specialization through an online program with IUPUI.

I love reading YA and since starting my blog it’s been gratifying to see how many other twenty-somethings there are out there who love it too! My husband and I can usually be found running after our baby boy who was born April 2018.

You can find the book(s) that I’m currently reading by checking out my Goodreads page here. I welcome any book suggestions so feel free to leave comments or email or whatever!

Thanks for reading 🙂

  1. I just found your blog when you started following mine, and I am so excited to see that you include content warnings in your reviews! I have often wished that there were some kind of database that I could use to look books up before I try them, so that I could see whether there was any explicit content in them that I’d want to avoid. I try to consider explicit/potentially offensive content whenever I review or recommend a book. It always makes me happy to see other people who care about what they put into their heads. 🙂 Thank you for including that information in your reviews! I look forward to reading more from you.

    1. Thank you! I’m excited to read more from you as well. I read on your “About” page that you’re looking at pursuing a Masters in Library Science which is something that I’m looking into as well! Guess that just shows how much we like books, right? 😉

      1. Absolutely! ^^
I’ve been working part-time in my local library for a few years now, and I can honestly say it’s a dream job. If you love books and people, and people with books, and you don’t mind quiet, you should definitely go for it!

  2. Hi Ashley!
I would like to nominate you for the Liebster Award, but I wanted to make sure that you hadn’t already been tagged for it, or whether you even want to be nominated or not 🙂 (Just making sure it won’t be an annoyance)!

      1. I did mine online from USF. Took me three years, but it was worth it. I love my job. I can’t believe I’ve been at it almost two years. I’m gearing up for my third summer reading program already. I wish you luck!

I am jealous of your degree, I wish we had something similar here, it sounds very interesting!
