Hello! I am an avid reader in Springville, UT. I’m one of those people who have lists pages long of books that I want to read (not to mention the dozens of books on my Kindle waiting to be read too). I have a Masters degree in Library Science with a Youth Services Specialization through an online program with IUPUI. I’m currently working at a local library as the Inter-Library Loan specialist and I love it!
I’ve recently made the jump from reading mostly YA to reading mostly adult. I love to find books that I feel really bridge that gap and that I find relate to the time of life that I’m currently in. My husband and I can usually be found running after our two kids.

What's She Reading? 
I love your blog and thought I would read a little about you. I seen that you have your masters in library science and I thought it was interesting because that is what I plan to go to college for as well. I live in the Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky region and plan to go to IUPUI as well just not online. People always think I’m crazy when I say that I want to be a librarian so it’s nice to know I’m not the only one.

That’s so awesome! You FOR SURE are not the only one–it’s a great community and I really loved my classes through IUPUI. Whenever I told people I was getting a Masters in Library Science they were always like, “So…what do you do with that?” And then when I told them you become a librarian they always said, “Oh, that’s…cool” or “Oh, do people even still use libraries?”. But libraries and librarians are so necessary and they don’t even know!

That’s cool you’re from Provo/Orem! My husband is from Clearfield and I frequently go to the Utah area because my sister goes to BYU.

That’s cool! Do you teach there or are you a librarian? Provo is really coming into it’s own. I know it’s grown a lot in the last couple years.

So true! I actually work in the central HR office haha. So not related at all to my degrees. I’ve got my eye open for library jobs though.
