HELP WANTED: Popsugar Reading Challenge 2015

Alright, I am making one final push to finish the Popsugar Reading Challenge for 2015 (click here if you want to start planning for the 2016 reading challenge). Here’s a link to my 2015 list so far.

I need help with these three items:
A funny book
A memoir
A book a friend recommended

Keep in mind that I mostly stick to YA (especially now that I only have a month left to finish these). You can look at my Goodreads page to check if I’ve already read something. Please give me your recommendations!

  1. The funniest book I’ve ever read is Michael McIntyre’s Life and Laughing. However, he is a British comedian and it’s basically an autobiography, so it may not be your cup of tea if you’ve never heard of him. Since you like a lot of YA, I would recommend anything by Rainbow Rowell if there’s a book you haven’t read by her. I would also recommend Me and Earl and the Dying Girl by Jesse Andrews. If you like psychological thrillers, a recent one I read and really enjoyed was The Sisters by Claire Douglas. Sorry if you’ve read any of these!

      1. I second the recommendation of Me and Earl and the Dying Girl, it’s hysterical. You could also try The Princess Bride. The book is even funnier than the movie.

  2. Hey again old pal (kindergarten was so ridiculously long ago now…), just another little push for Beth Revis’ “Across the Universe” as a friend recommended read! It’s got its faults, but the word building is pretty darn fun. Good luck!
